The team comprises of players like Sarah Dixon, Tanya Griffith, Lauren Harris, Laura Steven and Lisa Martin in the defense and the likes of Beth Dickens, Lindsay Smith, Susie Brown and Tracy Balmer. Sheila Begbie has been appointed as the new head of women’s rugby in Scotland.
The Rugby Sevens proved to be a great hit among the nations in the recently concluded Commonwealth Games at Glasgow. Scotland Sevens men team represents the country in IRB’s HSBC Sevens World Series whereas the women’s Sevens team concentrates on the Grand Prix tournaments around the world.
